THE COMMITTEE
Clanfield Pre-school is a community based registered charity managed by a committee of parents. Anyone who has a child with us can join and it is a great way to get involved in the ongoing development and success of the pre-school. The committee is responsible for the financial and administrative aspects of the pre-school. Committee meetings are held once every term where various issues are discussed and actions taken to ensure all legislation and financial requirements are being met, the minutes of these are distributed to every parent.
The committee also organises fundraising events, parties and outings throughout the year. It is worth remembering that if we don't have a committee we won't have a pre-school, so it is an essential aspect of the setting. Many pre-schools across the country have had to close as they didn't have an efficient and dedicated committee. So any help we can get is gratefully received.
